Brenda Jill Garcia Memorial Park

The park was dedicated in August 2020, in memory of Mrs. Brenda Jill Garcia. She was instrumental in organizing activities and volunteering her time, leading efforts to support events, serving and improving the Bear Creek Plantation community.

BJG Park was funded by the residents of MUD239 for the use and enjoyment of residents of Bear Creek Plantation I & II, Bear Creek Meadows and Austinville sub-divisions. Two pavilions for picnics, one fitted with a grill, are available. Shaded benches sprinkled around park for resting and relaxing. There is also a walking path. Two restrooms are available. A small splash pad is the main attraction during the summer months!

Please note, this a small Community Park, primarily designed for families with young children. With very limited space, the amenities are specifically designed for children up to 12 years of age. It is NOT designed for large gatherings or group activities. Pavilion seating is limited. Parking is very limited. Due to park design, NO BUSSES OF ANY SIZE are allowed in parking lot.
